I have someone in my life who means everything to me. It’s my mother, the most important person on earth. She is always with me, from my very birth. And she is always ready to help and listen to my problems or some crazy ideas, she is able to find the proper words and make me feel comfortable and calm.

My mum’s name is Elena. I find her very beautiful and gracious. Besides, she is really smart, caring and hard-working. She bakes the most wonderful pies, grows magnificent flowers in our garden, knits the warmest socks for the whole family and keeps the coziest home in the world in order.

My mother means love to me. She can easily kiss away my pain and troubles. I feel terribly ashamed to realize that I have let her down a couple of times. And I often feel guilty when I forget to say a simple “thank you” to her. However she doesn’t stop telling me that she loves me. My mum’s love is unconditional. She forgives everything.

My mum means courage to me. She has gone through much pain and bad times in her life and nevertheless she has achieved quite much and has kept an optimistic spirit and a great sense of humour. I can learn so much from her. I am sure she always tries to do only good and honest things. That is why she is a good example to me.

My mother means faith and patience to me. She prays for us. She believes in us. She has unlimited faith in her children. We can entrust her with all our secrets, we can discuss anything, even things that are not easy to talk about with adults. We are true friends. Sometimes we go shopping together and even read to each other a good book.

My mother means life to me. She gave me my precious life. And she wants me to live it to the best of my ability and always to keep smiling. She respects my own personality, my dreams and ambitions.
